Meet the Team
Matthew Chaplin is the founder and owner of Jemstruct. He obtained a diploma in Building from Durban University of Technology, and has worked on many different projects since. He has completed his NHBRC and has managed a wide variety of projects, from big commercial buildings & developments to shopping centers. He is also well known for building homes in many of Ballito’s estates. For the last number of years Matthew has worked under some of the biggest contractors in South Africa, thus has learnt from the best.
Matthew is a dynamic and strong leader who has a passion for building. He is hands on and will ensure that a client’s dream becomes a reality, by the craftsmanship at Jemstruct.
Matthew as well as the rest of the team at Jemstruct are professional, experienced and hard working.
